Method of preparation
The cream is whipped to form stiff peaks and frozen until required. Milk is heated and 1/4 cup of the milk is reserved and mixed with cornstarch Mix Sugar and water and bring it to a gentle boil for 5-6 minutes. It starts turning a deep brown colour and is kept on medium-low heat. Now add butter and stir Add cream and cornstarch paste and mix. This will now thicken put off the gas. 
  • The butterscotch can be added to this and stirred for lumps, once it cools down. 
  • Add whipped cream and set to chill. Serve cold with choc chip garnish.
